Jennifer Aniston, Will Ferrell and Woody Harrelson are urging fans to help free Burma of its military regime. A day before the cyclone in Myanmar swept away the lives of thousands, the Hollywood stars helped launch a month-long campaign to raise awareness of human rights issues in the area. Every day – for 30 days – since May 1st a host of celebrities have presented a different short web-based film as part of the US Campaign for Burma. But the message got sidelined when the natural disaster killed thousands when it struck on May 2.
In his public service announcement Ferrell says: “A human rights crisis is happening right now in the Southeast Asian country of Burma.”
